Northwest Radiology Network Welcomes Body Imaging Radiologist Dr. David Dragoo

Northwest Radiology Network welcomes David Dragoo, M.D., who is subspecialized in body imaging radiology.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., Dr. Dragoo received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Ill.

He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by an abdominal imaging fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Dragoo is a member of the Society for Abdominal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology and American Medical Association.

He was the first author on a manuscript at MD Anderson on the imaging findings associated with Cowden Syndrome, a hereditary malignancy predisposition syndrome. He has contributed to a publication about the impact of an electronic application on resident responses to simulated in-flight medical emergencies. He has also contributed to several abstracts and presentations on topics including ACE-inhibitor induced isolated angioedema of the small bowel; understanding pediatric anterior mediastinal masses through stereoscopic visualization of segmented pathology; imaging-based review of colorectal cancer; and imaging-based review of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
